This is the owner of "Cabinet of Curiosities" in Hamilton. He scours the world for strange, haunted and cursed objects. He had many stories to share. His first real encounter with the paranormal began with an Egyptian relic that came with a serious note of caution. Being in the "biz" he said he never put any stock in warnings. One night just after closing his store he and his employee had locked up display cases and headed to the office. He said things just went completely silent. Not just quiet but "so silent there was a weight to it". Both him and the employee heard a horrible noise, almost screaming, that both swore they just knew they should have understood but couldn't. They walked into the exhibition room and standing next to this Egyptian relic was a spirit of a man. It looked directly at him then disappeared. He says had this not happened to him he never would have believed there was anything to the paranormal, but certainly does now.
He works quite a bit with movie companies renting antiques and relics. Over the years Guillermo Del Toro has been a constant patron. The shop keeper shared a story about him which I will tell in the "Cryptid Evidence at the Oddities Shop".
