Archeological Antics

This mystery is more of an exercise in imagination more than a who-done-it. Write a complete story to explain the events that took place. Be as detailed as you wish, and don't forget to answer the three questions:

-Who is this woman?

-Where did she go?

-What happened to the Archeologist?
