Recipe: Snickerdoodles
Ingredients:
1 cup butter (unsalted)
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon kosher salt
2 teaspoons cream of tartar
Steps:
1. Preheat oven to 400° F (204°C)
2. Cream 1 cup butter until smooth.
3. Add sugar.
4. Add eggs.
5. Add baking soda.
6. Add cream of tartar.
7. Add kosher salt.
8. Add flour gradually and mix well.
9. Make a bowl of granulated sugar and cinnamon (50/50 ratio or preferred amounts)
10. Roll dough into bite sized balls.
11. Roll each ball through the cinnamon and sugar mixture.
12. Place on baking sheet (non-stick or lined with parchment paper) at least 2 inches apart.
13. Bake until lightly browned around the edges, but still soft (about 6-8 minutes).
14. Enjoy!
